Lazy days

It’s good to be lazy sometimes. To chill on the couch for hours with a magazine and a glass of wine. And then stand only to grab a refill and a blanket. I’ve been lazy the past few nights.

Last night, I finished a load of laundry and wrote a few lines. I felt very accomplished. I also stumbled on an excellent quote in Elle magazine, courtesy of E. Jean: “The essence of passionate love is anticipation.” Agreed. I wrote it down in my little flip-book.

Also, I made a list of food that’s good for your hair: yogurt, granola, cantaloupe, whole grains, cheese, eggs, avocado, chick peas and spinach.

Spinach?  But Popeye was bald. Weird, I know.

Lastly, my friend Rosa emailed me a wonderful quote from Rainer Maria Rilke, which coincidentally happens to be tattooed somewhere on Lady Gaga’s body:

“In the deepest hour of the night, confess to yourself that you would die if you were forbidden to write. And look deep into your heart, where it spreads its roots the answer, and ask yourself, must I write?”
